  • Measurements: Body 9 Feet exact 108 inches long Weight 5 – 8 LBS Each,
  • Diameter 1 ½ inches at the handle and tapered to 1 inch at the tip.
  • The Long Poles are professionally kiln dried at large mill factory to maintain correct moisture balance and prevent cracking.
  • The long poles are straight, strong, sturdy, heavy and very durable.
  • The long poles are MADE BY HAND since they cannot be turned on a lathe.
  • The Ving Tsun long poles are tested before they leave to make sure that they meet the standards of the IP Man Lineage.

These poles are made per order and will ship within a week of purchase. 

Reason being:

  • Depending on stain finish may take a week to make sure dry and sealed. I want you to have a quality Ving Tsun Pole. 
  • Ving Tsun Pole can either come in natural oak color or you can choose your pick of stain see below price may vary.
  • To ensure the safety and quality of the long poles we recommend buying two poles at a time that way they do not get damaged when being shipped

Shipping standard ground UPS to “United States Only” I will send you the total to the winning bidder please submit zip code first.  Shipping usually runs $29.00 to $39.00 USD do to the long length of pole and exceeding the 8’ UPS standards. 

Working with a long pole teaches you principles of leverage during empty hand combat, builds external strength, and teaches principles of long bridge also improves the student’s dynamic strength and body coordination to upper and lower triangles.

Long Poles are custom made please allow 2-4 weeks to make and ship.

This Mook Yan Jong “wooden dummy” is what I would call the Economy Jong meaning one very affordable and most durable dummy out on the market today. This affordable PVC dummy matches the specs given to us from Hong Kong.  Quality, correct position and lines are very important and making sure that these dummies are made to the correct spec is what we pride ourselves with. The body is made of PVC and the arms and leg are made of  oak.

These are made so that all Ving Tsun families can afford their very own dummy so that they still get the precise positions as the wooden jong but at half the cost.  

This is the ideal dummy for either being outside, doing seminars or for those on a budget.
